Ina-Garten
Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002, has 27 seasons till 2020. Ina was employed for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents and the budget. She initially adored the intellectual challenge that came with her work, but she soon stopped her interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. She spent eighteen years making the shop extremely popular before selling it off and grabbing a pen to write her first cookbook. Many more cookbooks and magazine columns which followed. The Food Network television program also was launched and soon became a hit. She sells many products, from ingredients for cooking to kitchenware and storage. Ina is a self-taught cook who has not been to a cooking class, nor worked in a kitchen. Ina is known for her relaxed way of cooking and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
