Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. In New York, she was born into an artistic family. In the beginning she began as an assistant to photographers. Then, her career shifted towards modeling and directing. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being an aspiring young actress. MacGraw became an international superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. In just three films, she received the title of top female debut at the box office worldwide. In 1972, her footprints as well as autograph was engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on are The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw is divorced three times.
